Things that you never have when you need one.
A quarter for the parking meter.
A pencil to write down a phone number.
Aspirin for when you have a headache.
How come we never have the little things we need when we need them? I’ve made it my mission at conventions to remember all the little things that most people forget. Rubber bands, clips, sharpies, food? I’ve got them.
Why in the heck do I never have a camera on me when I want to take a picture the most then? Come to think of it, I always want to take a picture. It would stand to reason that I would just bring mine with me wherever I go. That’s was purses are for, right? To carry the loads of random things females carry around? Maybe I just need a smaller digital camera. Any suggestions?
I find, regardless of how small a camera I might carry, my purse will never be big enough… it’s enough to drive one insane.
Other than that, you have a pretty small camera, I thought. Sean’s the only one I know of who has smaller, and his is basically a spy camera… Otherwise, you can get a pretty inexpensive one at Costco. Christy’s was about $200, and she’s got it with her all the time. 5MP too…
Yes, switch to a large laptop bag (17″ or above). It has lots of compartments for organizing, and lots of space in the big pockets. It might not be as fashionable as a purse (though there are a lot of different styles out there now), but it should make up for it in being able to fit pretty much anything you need and have a set place for it.
I dunno if it’s workable across the pond, but a mobile phone with a built-in camera solves a lot of ‘I wish I had a camera’ moments, especially if you’ve got one of the modern ones which are basically a camera that makes phone calls.
They could really only make a digital camera as small as it’s screen.
Hmm a digital cellphone works but I personally when at cons and the like – carry my digital camera with me around my neck on nylon strap. Though I imagine I must look rather silly when doing so…
For the digital camera, i’d go against the phone…. the resolution and the speed you can take a photo are never good enough. I have a small Nikon that I love, but it cost an arm and leg. so is there a price range your looking for?
